Featuring: Clement Soffer 

Clement Soffer was expulsed from Egypt at age 15, arriving in the United States on a student visa to Mirrer Yeshiva. By age 20, he founded the first Jewish Egyptian Synagogue in Brooklyn. Soffer went on to serve in various capacities at United Jewish Appeal, Israel Bonds of Long Island, International Sephardic Education Foundation and Council for the Rescue of Syrian Jews. He’s been honored by Congress for his human rights work and by Yeshiva University for his dedication to the Jewish people. Today, Soffer is a Realtor with Classic Real Estate in South Florida.
