College Caravan – A two-day trip to tour Florida universities and learn about Jewish life on campus.
Young Ambassadors Program – Teens in grades 9-12 connect with Israeli teens from Federation’s partnered communities in Israel’s Tzahar Region for a week of travel and learning in Florida.
Gesher Hai (Hebrew for living bridge) – A four-week subsidized annual transformative summer program in Israel that provides an exciting journey of self-discovery, and connects our teens with their Israeli peers in social, educational, athletic and cultural activities.
Bonim Fellows Youth Leadership Mission – A secondary Israel experience for teens in grades 10-11 who have already traveled on a previous Federation or approved program. This highly subsidized, seven-day trip provides volunteer opportunities to local teens in Tzfat, Rosh Pina and Hatzor Haglilit.
Camp Grants and Scholarships -- $1,000 grants are available for any child who has never attended an approved Jewish overnight camp for three weeks or longer, does not attend Jewish day school, and lives in Federation’s service area. Needs-based scholarships are provided for children who want to attend an approved Jewish overnight camp. Awarded on a sliding scale, ranging from $500-$1,500, these scholarships are accepted by a great many overnight camps; JTI can assist with your selection.
Jewish Student Unions – Official student-run school clubs at middle and high schools, each with a faculty advisor and slate of elected officers, which teach Jewish values and touch Jewish lives, educating, motivating and cultivating community.
Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing! – The first proactive, informal education program that uses Judaism to enrich the lives of girls, drawing on Jewish tradition to give them a place to feel safe, articulate their questions and concerns, have fun and be “real” with their peers.
