What is a community?
- A group of people living within certain boundaries.
- A group of individuals with similar interests and common goals.
- A collaborative effort that brings people together to help and care for each other.
At the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, we see "community" as all of the above and more.
Guided by traditions and obligations, a community - and specifically a Jewish community - is a means by which people can stay connected; a way for people to seek and receive aid - no matter what their circumstances; and a way for all of us to come together - in times of joy and sorrow - to share experiences that unify us.
As a result, our community of engaged members has helped the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County make a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of men, women and children here in the Greater Palm Beaches, in Israel and around the world.
While you may personally never meet them, their lives are better – because of you. Thanks to your generosity, the Federation has positively impacted the lives of our Jewish community around the corner and around the world.
Every gift makes a difference and every dollar helps build our Jewish community to be the best that it can be – for all age groups.
