Friday, July 27 marks the beginning of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London...and 40 years since the murder of 11 Isareli athletes by terrorists at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.
For the past four decades, the bereaved families of those lost have repeatedly asked the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to observe a minute of silence in their memory.
Despite a petition signed by nearly 100,000 people, the IOC has refused to act on the request.
In order to heighten awareness of and support for this important memorial ceremony, we ask you to please consider signing the petition.
