Innovation Fund Israel Engagement Grant
The Innovation Fund is the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s high-impact grants program that represents a new, forward thinking philosophy.
The Innovation Fund platform distributes grant dollars through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to support mission-driven programs, and is outside of Federation’s conventional unrestricted allocations process. The desired outcome of the Innovation Fund program is to harness creative energy, encourage collaboration, and meet the challenges in our community in a new thinking and entrepreneurial spirit.
The Innovation Fund is seeking program ideas that raise awareness, support and connectivity to Israel locally in Palm Beach County. Applicants should submit innovative program proposals with a focus on celebrating Israel, its history, people and culture.

Strong preference will be given to programs that bring Israel to life in our community.
Applicants may request up to $20,000, inclusive of administrative costs, for one (1) twelve (12) month grant period. Innovation Fund grants are considered one-time and non-renewable.
Scoring & Weighting
Grant applications will be reviewed by the Community Planning & Investments (CPI) committee using a scoring system that considers the following:
- Collaborative projects among two or more organizations
- Demonstrated opportunity or need for the program
- Power of innovative thinking
- Strength of plan for evaluation and measurement of program success
- Correlation between the budget and the proposed scope of work
While the above scoring will be used to guide the CPI committee’s decisions, meeting the above criteria does not guarantee that a program will be selected to receive a grant.
General Grant Requirements
Applicants will be required to submit an evaluation report on their finances and achievements within six (6) months of the start of the grant period, and then upon completion.
