Two Graduating Seniors Receive Leadership Award

Mazel tov to Elana Deutch and Allison Taylor – two local high school seniors honored with Federation's prestigious Kochavim Zorchim (Hebrew for “shining star”) Award.

The annual recognition is given to an outstanding Jewish graduating high school senior (and in some years, multiple seniors) who have demonstrated outstanding involvement and leadership in the Jewish community.

“Both Elana and Allie have developed passions for supporting the local community and advocating on behalf of the State of Israel, where each of them has spent time,” said Helene Lotman, Chief Talent Officer at Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. “They each lead by example, and as they move on to their respective universities, they leave behind legacies for other young people to follow.”
