01/17/2013 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Opening Night Reception for Jewish Film Society Members and Festival Sponsors (5:00 pm - 7:00 pm) followed by opening night film and musical performance open to the public at 7:00 pm

The mission of the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival is to take people on a cinematic cultural journey; to laugh, to learn, to remember and to rejoice, while viewing a broad spectrum of Jewish life. Films shown at the PBJFF come from all over the world and offer a rare glimpse into the Jewish experience.

The Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival is one of the five largest Jewish film festivals in the United States and is the recipient of the 2011 Muse Award from the Palm Beach Cultural Council.

The Palm Beach Jewish Film Society, an outreach of the JCC of the Greater Palm Beaches, is a social group of film-lovers whose primary mission includes supporting the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival which uses the power of film to illuminate the Jewish experience throughout history. The Society provides a social format for film enthusiasts to meet, view and discuss films.

Society membership gives you the benefits of preferred seating, as well as free passes to all films including our Gala Opening Night at The Kravis Center. Opening night also includes a private pre-opening night cocktail party for Society Members.
