The catastrophic earthquake in Haiti has devastated the lives of millions of people. Tens of thousands of people are estimated to have died. Tens of hundreds of thousands of people have been left in despair with no shelter, and limited food and medical supplies.
Our tradition calls upon us to practice tikkun olam – repairing the world. For the people of Haiti, the time to help is now.
Please consider making a donation to Federation's Haitian Relief Fund. Money that has already been contributed is providing necessary medical supplies and equipment, including infant incubators and orthopedic devices. One hundred percent of your donation -- without expenses or overhead -- will be sent to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, one of Federation’s overseas partners, which is responding to the crisis with humanitarian aid.
Make your gift now on Federation's website, call 561-478-0700, or send your check, payable to the Haitian Relief Fund, to the Federation office: 4601 Community Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33417.

The program provides direct and immediate benefits to nearly 800 needy area seniors by subsidizing a number of services, including adult day care, home health care, Meals on Wheels, medication management and counseling, among other critical services. As local deserving residents age in their homes, they can rely on Federation to help fund the specialized care they need to live securely and with dignity.
Together, through Federation’s Annual Campaign and designated gifts, we can make a difference in the lives of so many and continue to provide for a thriving, caring and growing Jewish community.
