Natan Sharansky at Federation's Campaign Opening
Natan Sharansky became a human rights activist and the focus of Soviet Jewry emigration when he was imprisoned and denied a visa to Israel. After immigrating to Israel and becoming a politician, he helped bring more than 1 million Soviet Jews to Israel. He now leads the Jewish Agency for Israel, one of the largest international Jewish organizations.
Meet a living legend of the Jewish people on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County's Campaign Opening event at the West Palm Beach Marriott.
