image

Days have passed since the shootings at the Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse, France, but the victims will long be remembered. The school, part of a national chain of at least 20 Jewish schools throughout France, educates children of primarily Sephardic, Middle Easter and North African descent.

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County joins people around the globe in mourning the loss of lives. “This unspeakable act is beyond comprehension ” said Federation Chief Executive Officer David Phillips. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sandler and Monstango families.  We are connected as one extended Jewish family, in times of both joy and sorrow, to share experiences that unify us as a people.”
