The Foundation’s professional team offers the expertise to help you accomplish your philanthropic goals.

Community Trust

The Community Trust is our community’s safety net - an unrestricted fund that affords our community maximum flexibility to respond to emergencies and unique opportunities that may arise any time in the future.

Field of Interest Endowment

You can now choose how to most effectively create your legacy by directing your endowment to a specific Field of Interest, one of Federation’s community partners, or even your synagogue. Ensure a lasting impact by preserving the principal and making grants from the income. (see the next page for a variety of opportunities)

Annual Campaign Endowment

An Annual Campaign Endowment (ACE) is a permanent fund dedicated to endowing a gift to Federation’s Annual Campaign – our primary vehicle to sustain our network of life-changing programs and services locally, in Israel and throughout the world.

Lion of Judah Endowment

A Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) Fund is created by establishing a fund of at least $120,000 in the donor’s name, ensuring the perpetuation of a woman’s Lion of Judahlevel gift to Federation’s Annual Campaign. A LOJE Fund is a powerful statement of your commitment to Tzedakah in our community.

Synagogue Endowment

Strong synagogue communities are a critical component of vibrant Jewish life. Synagogues create opportunities for community members to experience a sense of belonging, meaning and purpose. A legacy gift to benefit your synagogue through the Jewish Community Foundation will sustain congregations for future generations.

The Jewish Community Foundation is pleased to offer you Field of Interest endowment opportunities that address the causes you are most passionate about and best reflect you and your family’s values. You can choose one or more of the following opportunities to provide a continuum of support and create your lasting legacy.

Jewish Family Life

From B’rit Milah to B’nai Mitzvah and beyond, there is a continuum of opportunities to connect Jewish families to Jewish learning and community life. By promoting the diversity of Judaism and Jewish culture into the life of families, you help to build and sustain a Jewish future.

Youth Scholarships

Immersive Jewish experiences like summer travel programs, Jewish day school, Jewish camp and other educational opportunities are transformational in developing a young person’s Jewish identity. Needsbased scholarships, subsidies, grants and incentives promote key Jewish values and help create a strong Jewish foundation for life.

Jewish Identity

Jewish identity relies on integration into various social spheres available during one’s life. Support of efforts to engage teens, foster connections for college students, young professional networking, and developing tomorrow’s leaders are key elements in the foundation of the future Jewish community.

Active Jewish Adults

Jewish adults are a significant and growing segment of Palm Beach County’s Jewish community, with unique needs and a desire to be involved. Engaging this cohort in Jewish life in new, more relevant ways will yield benefits in both Jewish identity and community connections, such as service learning and volunteerism.

Aging in Place

Palm Beach County is home to one of the nation’s largest populations of Jewish seniors – 90% of whom want to “age in place,” or live in their own home and community safely, independently and comfortably. Delivering meals, medicine, companionship and home healthcare to frail elderly is of paramount importance in Federation’s work to care for vulnerable populations.

Israel & Global Jewish Partnerships

Today’s cutting-edge resources enable us to enhance connections and address the needs of our extended Jewish family. Through unique global partnerships and a network of international agencies, we are able to support educational and community-building programs that strengthen Jewish identity and meet social, educational and welfare needs of Jewish people in Israel, the former Soviet Union and 70 countries around the world.

Community Outreach, Advocacy & Social Action

Building outreach efforts and community partnerships aligned with Federation’s mission and values support a more compassionate, enlightened community. Community Relations initiatives encourage social action, the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam (“repairing the world”), and advocacy.

A network of local and global partner agencies enables Federation to care for vulnerable populations, enrich Jewish life and build global Jewish community. You can designate any number of Federation’s partners and/or your synagogue to receive your lasting support.
